Anouschka Ramsteijn

Anouschka’s research interests are mechanisms of early life programming of long-term health outcomes. With a background in neurobiology, she has a special interest in brain development and cognition. During her PhD (University of Groningen, The Netherlands), she studied molecular mechanisms such as gene expression and epigenetics. As a Fulbright Fellow (University of Pennsylvania, USA), she investigated the gut microbiota.
