Bio

Bren is an education specialist with a passion for enabling all children to access appropriate education.

Her early career as a Design and Technology teacher in the UK and Kenya furthered her commitment and interest to work in education and international development. Until 2021 she worked within the education department for Practical Action. Here she led a wide range of education projects including the Sustainable Design Award and wrote many teaching and learning education resources. They can be viewed here practicalaction.org/schools

In 2021, Bren and a colleague set up STEM Matters. They are currently enjoying a range of partnerships with projects and organisations that share common values.

Her role to date within the Action Against Stunting Hub has been to write the Road to Zero Hunger. She’s looking forward to continuing her work to support the public engagement part of the program led by Rachel Mason.

In her spare time, she loves being outdoors and enjoys walking, cycling, yoga and playing tennis.
